A letter from the Partners

 

Sixteen years ago, ai3 started with an idea that we could create a different kind of design company. We were working on one small project in a one-room office at the time.

We left our jobs at larger firms because we wanted to create a process that began and ended with our client’s purpose. We’d get to know their ideas, their passions, their why. And use their stories as the driving force behind every inch of design.

What resulted was pure collaboration.
It added meaning to the design.
And made for the best possible end result.

Today our company has grown tremendously and it continues to be our mission as designers and architects to tell our clients’ stories. We’re just doing it from a slightly larger office.

We use the word purpose a good bit around here. To us, purposeful means meaningful and impactful. These are key words that apply to ai3’s approach – and to the experiences and connections we strive to create.

Purpose is also a driving force in the company we’ve built. From the start, it’s been our mission to create a workplace where our team can live their best lives. Coming to work with people that you respect and love is one of life’s greatest joys, and this team is the heart and soul of ai3: a diverse and collaborative group who shares a common set of values and a strong intention to create excellent work, every day.
