Handcrafted DetailsPulling inspiration from the interior design of the restaurant, the branded menus incorporate leather bindings, copper detailing, and custom engraved lettering. The embossed leather sleeve juxtaposed with the delicate design of the menu embraces the thoughtful balance of masculinity and femininity that is the AIX brand.
A Holistic ApproachThough Chef's adjacent wine bar concept, Tin Tin, operates as a separate entity from AIX, the design team was challenged to create a single business card that appropriately reflected the brand of both concepts. The provincial-bee and the Mediterranean star were merged to create one sophisticated pattern that expressed both branding packages equally.
Thoughtfully DetailedInfluenced by the site itself, the design team created a myriad of exterior signage displays that worked with the diverse orientation of the building. A double-sided blade sign that was finished in the same wood as the entry door was used for street traffic, a brass-inlayed sign at the entry door was used for pedestrian-level foot traffic, and storefront films display the custom bee graphic while creating privacy for guests inside.
