Had country music not come to Nashville, the city could have become the printing capital of the world, as it was home to over 36 printers and publishers located in Printer’s Alley. Ai3’s design references printing machines and block-printing techniques to share the history of Printer’s Alley at the Lobby’s front door. For a cozy environment in the Bar and Lounge, the team drew inspiration from the 1800s phase of Printer’s Alley which became a speakeasy for a mix of local businessmen and politicians. The “Mens’ District” created the place everyone wanted to frequent. with rising singer-songwriters.
