ai3 created a high-tech, high-touch experience built around Microsoft’s key priorities: Regional Relevance, Customer Experience, and Employee Experience.
The unique design was inspired by the Microsoft team’s stories of what we all love about Atlanta. We also took a deep dive into the journey of their customer, and made it a priority to humanize the space for employees.
Technology meets hospitality in this forward-thinking work space.
The original design concept took its inspiration from what makes its home city of Atlanta so welcoming and special. The notion of a trail, similar to Atlanta’s Beltline, provides the discovery of curated local art. Light is filtered throughout the space, emulating shadows cast by the abundant trees that blanket the city.
Visitors and employees are encouraged to interact around every corner.
Connection is encouraged from the moment a visitor enters the parking deck, setting the tone for a comfortable and approachable work environment.
Open work spaces allow employees to choose where and how they work.
Large-scale art, unexpected materials and natural light are key features in the design.
